What if we’ve mis-framed emotional health? What if our attitudes towards emotional health are perpetuating the challenges themselves? In this empowering and uplifting talk, Steve presents his Social Model of Emotional Wellbeing and how it can be used as a framework to help disabled people move from surviving to thriving.

Steve is an advocate, speaker, and author connecting the dots of Autism and disability to increase understanding and acceptance so disabled people can live their best lives. Steve regularly engages on Autism, disability, and emotional wellbeing to a wide array of audiences including individuals and families, business leaders, educators, healthcare, religious organizations, and the United States military. He currently serves on several non-profit boards and has recently been appointed to the King County (WA) Board for Developmental Disabilities.
